Setting up your mediation with Middle Ground Resolutions Services is simple and easy. Please call me at 336-645-5140 so that we may find a date and time that works best for your schedule and/or any court order. You can also send me a secure message below, and I will respond to you just as soon as I am able.
Once we get your case on the calendar, I will email the appropriate pre-mediation forms to all parties. From there, it will simply be a matter of conducting your mediation as scheduled and hopefully reaching a mutually agreed upon settlement. Rates / pricing & payment policies:
As for my fees, they vary depending on the jurisdiction and subject matter of the mediation. For example, my hourly rate for federal court mediation in North Carolina’s Western District is $300/hour. In North Carolina’s Middle District, the hourly rate for federal mediators is capped by Court Order at $200/hr. For North Carolina Superior Court civil matters or North Carolina District Court family matters, please call me for my particular hourly rate.
I also charge a non-refundable Administrative Fee equal to one hour of my time to set up your case to conduct either an in-person or Zoom mediation. If the parties wish me to review additional documentation prior to the mediation, I do so at my hourly rate.
Travel:
If I must travel more than 30 minutes from my office to conduct your mediation, I charge one half my hourly rate for my travel time. If your mediation is an in-person event and takes more than one day to complete, I charge my actual meals/lodging costs as expenses depending on the distance from my office.
As is consistent with all state and federal mediations in North Carolina, my fee and any expenses are due immediately following the conclusion of the mediation (whether by settlement or impasse) and are equally divided between the parties for payment unless some arrangement is made before or during the mediation.
